Attachments & AI Extraction

Upload files to your items and optionally let AI extract key data from invoices, contracts, and licenses. Available from the Pro plan onwards.

Supported File Types

• JPEG / PNG / WebP / GIF

Plan Limits

Uploading a File

1. Open the detail page of an item
2. Scroll to the Attachments section
3. Click Upload and select a file
4. The file is stored encrypted in the database (not on the filesystem)

AI Extraction (optional)

If the ANTHROPIC_API_KEY environment variable is configured, you can extract structured data from uploaded documents automatically.

How It Works

1. Upload an invoice, contract, or license document
2. Click Extract on the attachment
3. AI analyzes the document and returns:
   • Price and currency
   • Invoice date and expiry date
   • Renewal period (months)
   • License key and seat count
   • Vendor and product name
4. Review the extracted data and apply it to the item

Rate Limit

AI extraction is limited to 5 extractions per user per hour.

Bulk Extraction

Under Items → Extract, you can run AI extraction across multiple attachments at once.

Downloading & Deleting

• Click on an attachment name to download the file
• Use the delete button to remove an attachment permanently
